@rook @EU_Commission It's still a pilot program from what I've been able to gather

BEING ...The content on this channel is currently cross-posted from the EU Commission Twitter account. ... BETTER rethink what you write.

PS: You can set your privative services accounts to be cross posted from your owned open source instances

Wrote that congratulations for this beginning of open source adoption.

Offer a
IP/PBX = Internet Video Phones with click to call and click to videocall for free call as at least for EU politicians.

And better if it is also for citizens with open source video conference and multi conference powered by Asterisk, Jitsi, Apache openmeetings etc instead of proprietary Zoom MS Teams Google etc.

And desktop GNU/Linux (or Steam Deck) for EU offices.

@EU_Commission That's great. And a little surprising. Generally the EU regulation has been... Let's just say sub-optimal when it comes to the internet. The upcoming banner additions to the web seem like they will make the www even worse than it is now with the cookie banner inferno, which helps achieve nothing but combined billions of man-hours wasted on clicking nonsensical notifications that are usually not up to spec anyway.

@EU_Commission Welcome to fedi, I was hoping to see something like this. :)

@European Commission Welcome to the New World! Good to see a practice-what-you-preach policy.

Next project: replace #WhatsApp with #Matrix ;-)

Tell me you don't have schizophrenia without telling me you don't have schizophrenia.

He didn't say
upon seeing it, thus he does not have Schizophrenia.
@EU_Commission this social network belongs to a Russian (residing in Germany), Gargron. I thought you guys were sanctioning Russia?

Welcome! Now dissolve your illegitimate organization.

@ademan @EU_Commission I will say I have a strong urge to lobby my own local government to try and prevent the schools and public boards from using so much silicon valley saas trash and start hosting their own services so while idgaf what the EU has to say on anything it does provide a precedent I may be able to leverage.
@EU_Commission I don't respect you or treat any authority you wield as legitimate and I think everyone who cucks their website to your regulations even when hosted well outside your jurisdiction is unimaginably pathetic.
